Hanoi city is the home of Vietnam culinary tradition with the harmony of Yin-Yang philosophy. The cuisine relies on the balance of 4 main tastes: sweet, salt, sour, and piquancy, and Vietnamese people love to add fresh herb as it is said to be good for their health. This foodie tour will help you taste the best street food of Hanoi and enjoy local life.
Pick up you from hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter around 5:00 PM.
At the beginning, our guide and assistants will bring you around Hanoi, through beautiful streets and narrow alleys to discover some of the best street food in the town. The old quarter in Hanoi is over one thousand years old and today retains much of the old flavor that made the area special in earlier times, each street sold one typical type of product so there were whole streets of blacksmiths, silver shops, paper shops, cloth shops and more. Originally there were 36 streets in the old quarter but today it expands to more than 50 streets and alleys. Although many of the streets are short and narrow, they showcase the colorful daily life of Vietnamese people.
During the trip, we will stop several times on the way to taste some Hanoi special cuisine and our tour guide will tell you about people, culture, and history of Hanoi or anything that caught your interest.
The stop at the end of the trip could be at a special place where you can take a seat for drinking special Hanoi fresh beer (Hanoi Bia Hoi), the Hanoi’s drink of choice — for locals and visitors alike, people sit together in a basic setting and talk about whatever topic they like to discuss: you recent experience in Hanoi, your love, life, and work.
Trip ends at your hotel at 21.30 Pm approximately.
