7.30 – 8.00 am: Pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter then depart for Ha Long day trip. We will have a quick stop en-route to use restrooms and relax.
We board a small wooden junk at noon time and get off to the famous limestone marine landscape. A lunch based on seafood will be served, vegetarian or non-seafood eaters can be catered for if a prior notice is given at booking time.
With 5 hour cruise on the bay, we will have the chance to see the most popular sights of it. We won’t have time to cruise farther to the less-traveled area. However, you’ll be able to soak up the natural splendor of Halong, relax on the sundeck and admire the different islets and their fantasy shapes.
It time permits, we will stop to visit both Sung Sot cave and climb to the top of Titop Island otherwise you will choose to visit one of them, this is of course not compulsory and we let you the opportunity to talk to your guide and arrange activities at your best convenience.
About 5 pm, we get back on land and start our trip back to Hanoi, where we should arrive about 8.30pm
Sung Sot cave Visiting Site/Activity
Often called the Surprise Cave, Sung Sot Cave - located on Bo Hon Island - is one of the largest and most spectacular caves in Halong Bay and is always popular with tourists. At approximately 25m above sea level, the cave system occupies around 10,000 m2 and comprises two caverns, each as beautiful and interesting as the other.
Titop island Visiting Site/Activity
A climb up the few hundred steps to the summit of Titop Island (or Titov in Vietnamese) reveals the most breathtaking view Halong Bay has to offer. Titop is visited by thousands of tourists every day and with good reason, as for many this is the highlight of their entire Halong Bay experience.
